The influence of hormones composition in the precultivation medium on regeneration of callus cultures of silver birch (Betula pendula Roth.)

The paper described the scheme of sterilization of silver birch leaf explants for callus culture establishment, and the dependence of morphogenesis from the composition of growth regulators and culture conditions. Noticeable effects of long-term maintenance of callus cultures and individual differences between initial forms on its regeneration capacity have shown.
